Packets are due 14 days before the candidates’ party’s convention.

*Signatures must be from Millard County active registered voters with the same party affiliation as the candidate running for office – with the following exceptions:

Packets of Candidates affiliated with the United Utah Party may also include all voters, regardless of party affiliation.
Packets of Candidates affiliated with the Independent Utah Party and Democratic Party may also include voters with no affiliation to a party.

Dates to be aware of

August 17:	· Last day for an unaffiliated candidate for president or vice president to declare candidacy
August 31:	· Last day to file as a Write-in Candidate · Last day to submit a ballot proposition to the Clerk · Last day an eligible voter may file a request to submit an argument on a ballot proposition
September 4:	· Last day to submit a Candidate Profile · Last day for a request to be placed on “Do Not Mail” List · Last day to submit an argument for/against a special local ballot proposition (not an initative or referendum)
September 18:	· Ballots will be sent to Military and Overseas voters
September 21:	· Last day to submit a rebuttal argument for/against a local ballot proposition and initiatives
October 13-20:	· Ballots will be mailed to all active registered voters between these dates. · (If you don’t receive a ballot by October 20^th, please call the Clerk’s Office 435-743-6223; 435-864-2440)
October 20 – October 30:	Early voting Period · Millard County Clerk’s Office Early Voting: October 20 – October 30 from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm · Millard County Satellite Offices Early Voting: October 26 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm October 30 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
October 23:	· Last Day to register to vote (all methods).
October 27:	· Last day to request an absentee/by mail ballot. (NOTE: this deadline does not apply to military and overseas voters.) · Financial Disclosure Statements are due for all candidates.
October 29:	· Last day for military and overseas voters to submit a Federal Write-in Absentee Ballot (FWAB) to register to vote and submit a ballot.
November 2:	· Ballots sent through the mail – must be postmarked no later than today.
November 3:	· General Election.

Voters needing assistance with their mailed ballot	If you cannot read or mark a mailed ballot, we can provide assistance or the use of a ballot marking device with accessible features (e.g. audio ballot, touch screen, large print, high contrast). If you need assistance with voting your ballot or you have ballot issues, please contact the Millard County Clerk’s Office 435-743-6223; 435-864-2440
· All ballots will be in the form of paper and will be mailed to each registered voter eligible to vote the upcoming Election. If you have ballot issues: did not receive a ballot, tore or damaged your ballot, please contact the Clerk’s Office ASAP. If you feel you would rather vote in person, rather than mailing your ballot through the mail, please bring in the ballot that was mailed to you, along with a picture ID to one of the two vote centers during early voting or on Election Day; OR · There are outside drop boxes located at 50 S Main Street in Fillmore, 765 S Hwy 99 in Fillmore and 71 S 200 W in Delta, for returning your ballot 24 hours a day, up to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. Drop boxes are a convenient way of returning your ballot without having to place a stamp and put in the mail, or to avoid long wait lines at a vote center. · If mailing your ballot, it must be postmarked on or before Monday, November 2, 2020 in order for it to be counted. · Ballots cannot be forwarded, not even from a street address to a post office box, or vise versa. So to ensure you receive your ballot visit vote.utah.gov to make sure your mailing address is current.
