Fifteen days or more before an election, a person may register to vote in person at the County Clerk’s office.
Register to vote at the following agencies at least 30 days before an election:
∙ The Drivers License Division
∙ Division of Workforce Services
∙ Utah State Department of Health
∙ Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Offices
∙ The Division of Services for People with Disabilities
∙ The Department of Rehabilitation
∙ Public colleges and Universities

Now its easier than ever to register online! Simply visit the Online Voter Registration Website to find out more. You need to have a current Utah Driver’s License or ID Card in order to register using the online system.
You may use the voter registration website to:
∙ Register to vote in Utah
∙ Change your name and/or address on your voter registration record
∙ Affiliate with a party or change your party affiliation
Your Online Voter Registration must be submitted 15 days prior to the upcoming election to be eligible to vote in that election.
Please note that if registering online, your residence address must match the address on your drivers license.  If it does not match, you must first update your address with the Driver License Division (DLD), by visiting their website at https://secure.utah.gov/dlr/index.html.   After updating your address with the DLD please allow 24 hours before returning to register to vote online.
If your address is not current with DLD you may still use the online voter registration system, but you will be required to print the form, sign it and mail it in.

You can obtain the form for mail-in voter registration at the following links:
Utah Voter Registration Form
Utah Absentee Application Form
National Voter Registration Form (available in both English and Spanish, as required by Section 203 of the Voting rights Act).
Once completed, mail or hand deliver the form to your [county clerk’s office: 765 S Hwy 99, Ste. 6, Fillmore, UT 84631].
All documents must be postmarked 30 days before the election to be registered for the upcoming election.

*For County elections, you will only need to fill out an absentee ballot application if you want your ballot mailed to a specific address that is different from your home mailing address.

How can I obtain an absentee ballot?
A separate absentee ballot application must be filled out for each election unless you become a permanent absentee voter.  To become a permanent absentee voter, check “Yes” in the permanent absentee section of the application.

Request an absentee ballot using the online voter registration form or by completing an absentee ballot application form.

Ballot Application Deadlines and Submission Information:
All completed absentee ballot application forms should be filed with the appropriate election officer no later than the Thursday before election day.  County Elections: [Millard County Clerk’s Office; 765 South Hwy 99, Ste. 6, Fillmore Utah] Municipal Elections: [Incorporated Town Clerk].
Military and overseas ballots will be mailed 45 days before an election; all other by-mail ballots will be mailed 21 days before an election.

The State of Utah is striving to make voting for military and overseas voters as simple and convenient as possible.
Many counties in Utah are participating in a Federal Voting Assistance Program (FVAP) pilot program in association with Everyone Counts that allows military and overseas voters to use an online ballot marking tool.
The deadline to apply for a military-overseas ballot is the Thursday before the election
A military/overseas voter can request that their ballot be sent by mail, fax or email.
There are multiple options for military and overseas voters to get registered to vote and to request a ballot:
